About the artist

Academy of Fine Arts primarily with Gary Faigin. I have lived in London, Madrid, Paris, New York state, Montreal, San Francisco and Seattle, and now divide my time between the English Lake District and Seattle, Washington. All this traveling has led to my work being in many ways about the concept of home and place.For this artist, painting is both representation and interpretation, and a painting emerges from the combination of these with the experience developed over time. There is no greater pleasure than days spent learning, painting, accumulating a wealth of experience along the way, then continuing to learn and to paint. It's a lifetime commitment.
